  WAAB AWARD AVAILABLE The radio club "Rio de la Plata" began issuing the W.A.A.B. (Worked Argentine Antarctic Bases) to radio amateurs and SWLs as of April 1st, 2008. To get the award the applicants must show they have worked and confirmed by QSL cards, at least 3 different Argentine Antarctic Bases. Contacts can go back as far as November 9, 2001.
