Na comemoração do 160º aniversário da Revolução Húngara 1848-49, a estação HA3HK vai estar activa com o indicativo especial HG1848I , de 1 Fevereiro a 31 Dezembro 2008.

Um colorido Diploma irá estar disponível para radioamadores licenciados e Rádio Escutas que contactem/escutem 3 QSOs com HG1848I em diferentes bandas ou modos, 2 QSOs são necessários para as estações DX.

ZD9 08/03/2008 ZD9 - Tom, KC0W (ZD7X) will depart St. Helena in April. His next DX location will be Tristan da Cunha (ZD9) and Tom plans to be very active from the island for 4-6 months. Further information is expected in due course.
9M 17/5/2008 On 15 May the Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission issued the following eighteen special callsigns to celebrate 100 Years of Scouting in Malaysia: for West Malaysia 9M1CSA, 9M1CSB, 9M1CSC, 9M1CSD, 9M1CSF, 9M1CSI, 9M1CSJ, 9M1CSK, 9M1CSM, 9M1CSN, 9M1CSP (Penang Island, AS-015), 9M1CSR, 9M1CST, 9M1CSW, 9M1CSY and 9M1CSZ; for East Malaysia 9M1CSQ and 9M1CSS. They are valid until 31 December and will be used especially during JOTA events. The first one (Malaysia Jamboree On The Air) was held on 17-18 May, the Asia Pacific JOTA and the World JOTA will follow on 2-3 August and 18-19 October respectively. CU 21/07/2008 CU1B will be the callsign for the beacon to be operated on 6 metres (50113 kHz) from Santa Maria Island (EU-003), Azores from  21 July to 1 August [425DXN 891]. CU1F and CU1T (during the IOTA Contest) will be used on the HF bands. QSLs via CT1GFK. [TNX VA3RJ]

EA8 22/07/2008 A large group of operators from the Canary Islands, mainland Spain and Germany will be active from Lobos Island (DIE S-008) and nearby Islote de Barrieto (DIE S-117), Canary Islands (AF-004) on 22-29 July. They will use four different callsigns: AM8IL (22-29 July), AN8L (for the IOTA Contest), EH8VCL (24 and 27 July) and EH8RDB (25 July, from Barrieto).
